Signature required during holidays To our customers,
We will be requiring a signature to receive your package during the holidays. Due to theft, it's the only way we can guarantee that you'll receive your corbels without delay. Unfortunately we can not be responsible for stolen packages, so with this addition, your order should be safe. Have a Merry Christmas!
New Parent Company Website Coming SoonWe're in the process of designing a site for the parent company to www.wroughtironcorbels.com "Urban Ironcraft". It'll obviously be located at www.urbanironcraft.com. We're excited to launch this site, it'll be the gathering place for new product lines like our iron vanity bases for bathrooms. Stay tuned, it should go live in Jan. of 2013.
Quick Ship CorbelsWe've been working really hard on building up our inventory, so it's with great pleasure to announce that we now have some products in stock. We've selected some of our more popular designs and are keeping them in on the shelf in black. We're also offering them in Oil Rubbed Bronze and Old World, since it only takes a 3 or 4 minutes to dry-brush each one. One thing to note... These items will ship within 1-2 days, but will still be shipped as UPS Ground due to the extra expense to ship any quicker. If you wish to spend the extra money to expedite shipping, please call ahead to see what it will cost.
Below are the products that are available for "Quicker" shipment.

Two New BracketsWe've added two new brackets to our inventory, they are the Cooper and the Freeman. These two brackets will allow us a little more flexibility when it comes to suiting our customers needs. Not only are they nice to look at, but we're able to get some uncommon sizes that otherwise wouldn't be possible.

Iron Shelf BracketsNot only are our brackets used for countertop and mantle support, but they're great for shelving as well. We sell a lot of our iron corbels to customers needing to put up shelving in restaurants, bars, living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms. Note: We're getting ready to come out with a new decorative iron shelf bracket that has multiple corbels on one backplate, it's going to be a great solution to situations that call for multiple shelves, but need some hefty mounting support. Stay tuned, we'll be selling them on our site in Jan.
Choosing The Right FinishNote: All of the finishes, except for unfinished, are powder coated. If a two tone finish like oil rubbed bronze is choosen, we then dry brush over the black powder finish with our acrylic top coat.
Unfinished: This finish is perfect for you do it yourselfers. There are many applications out there that require that custom look. Example: You're wanting to use our brackets for shelving in your little girls room and you would like for them to be pink. It's easy, just go to your local hardware store and purchase a can of primer and a can of pink spray paint. Wait for a non-windy day, put a piece of cardboard down on your garage floor and paint away. Also remember to block them up a little off of the cardboard, it'll help keep them from sticking to the surface whey they're dry.
Unfinished w/clear: We love this finish, it's great with stainless steel appliances and nickle hardware.
Black: This black is in-between eggshell and satin, so it has very little shine to it. We didn't want to go with flat black, since it's easily scratched.
Oil Rubbed Bronze: This is our standard black, with a dark copper penny type finish rubbed over it. The reason it's called "Bronze" instead of "Copper", is because most of the cabinet hardware companies out there call their same finish "Oil Rubbed Bronze". So, since ours looks the same as theirs, we named it the same thing, so that you would know to match it to that color if need be.
Old World: This is our standard black, with a dark chocolate color rubbed over it. It matches a lot of other wrought iron decor out there.
Antique Pewter: With this finish, we take an unfinished corbel, drybrush over it with black and then clearcoat it. It also looks great with nickel plated hardware.
Moving Into Our New ShopAs of Monday Dec. 19th, we'll be moving into our new shop/warehouse. It's a great space, with plenty of room to stock all of our parts, hold our new equipment and grow, grow, grow. As soon as we get moved in, I'll be posting some pictures so that you can see how we make our products. With this new location, we're now bringing the powder coating process in-house. We've also purchased a nice new large oven that will allow us to bake at least 50 corbels at a time. Among other things, we've also added a larger sandblaster, allowing us to clean the brackets at a much faster pace. I'm excited, stay tuned for more info.
